Our restaurant is spacious and comfortable with enviable views of the seafront.
The chef – also the hotel owner! - produces a range of freshly cooked meals ranging from cheesy nachos right through to our superb homemade steak and kidney pies.
Our steaks are particularly popular and we serve a wonderful 12oz Aberdeen Angus rump steak for those with a good appetite - and our mixed grill is superb for those of you that enjoy a range of quality meats including black pudding, lamb chop, rump steak, gammon, pork, steak and kidney.
Food is served throughout the day from breakfast through to evening meals - handy for that late weekend breakfast or evening burger as well as for the more formal meals.
On Sundays we have a choice of beautiful home-cooked roast meats served with the traditional roast dinner accompaniments, for which booking is recommended, particularly during the summer months.
And then there's always dessert! Our chef is a firm believer in the good traditional home-cooked desserts - often with a twist: favourites include apricot and peach schnapps crumble - served with custard, cream or ice cream... Definitely worth leaving some space for!
We also scoop ten different flavours of Purbeck Icecream - it's very nice, and was even recently featured on the BBC's Points West!

Our lunchtime menu is served from 12:00 until 17:00 (weekdays only). All items listed are available for the excellent price of two for £10, and all come served with mixed vegetables and new potatoes, rice or chips!
